TVN Opens Uhrichsville Office
UHRICHSVILLE, Ohio - August 28, 2008 -- The New Philadelphia office of The Village Network moved to 117 E. 3rd St., Rear, Uhrichsville. The Uhrichsville location offers daily group and weekly individual counseling for adolescents and their families. Psychological assessments are also available on site according to Robert Draman, program coordinator.
Draman, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) at the supervisory level has been with The Village Network for 19 years. Cheryl Urban, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), also works from the Uhrichsville location as well as Cynthia Akers, administrative assistant. The new location will serve as a satellite office for the TVN-Newcomerstown Treatment Foster Care Network which is currently recruiting new foster homes to expand services in Tuscarawas County.
Before the move, Draman and team were located at 1888 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, where they shared space with the STAR Alternative School. The new location provides more room for existing programs and the ability to expand. It also places the office in a central location to the communities it serves according to Draman.
"Referrals to our programs come from several school districts in Tuscarawas County, Tuscarawas County Job & Family Services and the county's juvenile court system," said Draman. "We also receive referrals from other agencies and families."
