Kids in foster care are 44% less likely to graduate from high school.
Over 87% of eligible youth in our programs will graduate this June.
June is a milestone month for many high school seniors. This includes the 42 high school seniors under the care of The Village Network who will soon graduate and prepare for their futures. This highpoint holds even more significance to us because many of these troubled and traumatized youth entered our Continuum of Care one or two years behind in their school work.
Thanks to your continued support, this is only one of many programs and personal success stories at The Village Network. Your dollars helped:
- Transform a youth with suicidal tendencies into a young man with plans to attend college.
- Build a new greenhouse extending our horticultural therapy program to a year-round occupational classroom.
- Change an aggressive, physically abusive teenager into a young lady who was nominated for Foster Child of the Year.
- Sustain an evidence-based therapy program that eliminates the need for a time-out room in one of our residential locations.
- Save a 10-year-old female with a history of harming herself by supporting her through residential care and into a stable foster home.
- Rescue a 15-year-old rape victim and put her on the path to recovery.
For 64 years, your financial donations have improved, shaped and transformed the lives of at-risk boys and girls at The Village Network. Our programs provide a seamless transition between residential, day treatment and treatment foster care programs – all aimed at preparing youth to embrace new, productive lives.
Please give to The Village Network today and help rebuild the lives of our most vulnerable boys and girls. Your generous contribution will support existing best treatment programs and new initiatives aimed at Creating Positive Change for Responsible Living.
Help us change the world one child at a time,
