Why It Is Important

Troubled and traumatized youth are a safety concern to themselves and their community. Hundreds of boys and girls whose actions have negatively affected their school, family or community find hope and answers. Some of the youth have been involved with the judicial system. Typically, they are behind in their studies, lack social skills and have diminished self-worth.

Individualized care plans treat the entire person … emotionally, behaviorally, educationally and physically. Together with families, support agencies and communities TVN works to reshape their futures. Teaching and guiding children toward independent, productive lives drive every decision that is made at The Village Network.

The youth of today are the future of tomorrow. Without a caring, safe community, many of these children would fall through the cracks.
